Product Story
A prominent figure of 1980s graffiti culture, Keith Haring is renowned for his evocative illustrations. Visually, Untitled (be mine) 1987 is classic Haring in its flat, two-dimensional surface, cartoon-like simplicity and use of vibrant, saturated colours. The artist also often outlined his characters and scenes with thick black lines reminiscent of earlier modern artists, like Picasso and Warhol. The radiant heart-love motif that is central to this print features in much of Haring’s work. This particular illustration echoes the artist’s optimistic nature. A true romanticist, he believed firmly in humanity and the power of love.
